Duties include:
ï‚· Rooming patients including medication reconciliation
ï‚· BP checks
ï‚· Prepare EMR chart before the patient visits
ï‚· Relaying messages between the doctor and your patients
ï‚· Check in, Check out
ï‚· Scanning/importing
ï‚· Supporting the physicians as needed
ï‚· Help keep the doctors on time
ï‚· Appointment scheduling, insurance verification
ï‚· No phlebotomy or injections; no EKGs!

The requirements:
  LPN or LVN license in good standing
  Two years of EPIC or similar EMR use
  Computer savvy
  Strong ability to prioritize, and keep track of many duties
  Have a reliable car to travel to Euclid, Mayfield Heights, and occasionally Chardon.

Nephrologist

 

We are a close-knit group of three physicians and three APPs.  For over 30 years we have been the premier private nephrology practice in the communities we serve in Cleveland’s eastern suburbs at both University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic hospitals.. We are looking for an additional MD or DO to provide outstanding care to our renal patients.  You’ll enjoy the benefits of private practice that feels like a family.  You choose how you practice medicine, without a big bureaucracy being in control.

 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our providers care for patients in the hospitals, at dialysis centers, at rehab and SNFs, and in the office.


Physician candidates should possess these skills:

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning skills in medical decision making while performing evaluation and management of patients.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, referring providers, other members of the practice, and the patient’s healthcare team, as needed, to foster continuity of care and compliance through establishing good relationships. 

  • Order appropriate laboratory tests or radiologic procedures, along with following up on the results. 

  • Recommend consults as appropriate.

  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacological agents as well as non-pharmacologic therapies (no controlled substances.)

  • Document the plan of care, interventions and evaluations in a clear and concise manner in the patient’s medical record while following approved hospital and office policies and compliance standards.

  • Submit correct billing codes with appropriate diagnosis codes on a daily basis to the practice. On-the-job training in billing and coding is provided, with optional webinars.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Posses or attain an Ohio medical license, and Board Certification in Nephrology (within 3 months of hire for Fellow applicants).


JOB SCHEDULE: Full Time, Monday - Friday and weekend call one in three.

APP - Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Do you enjoy the mental challenge of interesting cases?  We are looking for an exceptional NP or PA with critical care or nephrology experience to provide outstanding care to our patients.  We allow you to practice to the highest level of your degree - which you have worked hard to earn- and we provide the collaboration and support you deserve to help you be your best.

 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are a tight-knit group of three physicians and three APPs, looking for a fourth) to join our team.  The APPs in our practice work closely with the physicians to manage our renal patients across a range of nephrology needs, from hypertension, acute and/or chronic kidney disease, to dialysis. Our APPs have a nice mix of mostly inpatient care and rounding on our ESRD/ESKD patients in dialysis centers, but also seeing our patients in rehab facilities. We are proud to be the premier nephrology practice in the communities we serve, in Cleveland’s eastern suburbs at both University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic hospitals.


The APP candidate should possess these skills:

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning skills in medical decision making while performing evaluation and management of the patients.

EDUCATION: Masters or doctoral degree, from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant school/program.  


LICENSURE: Nationally certified and licensed (or soon will be) as a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing (NP) or Board of Medicine (PA).  


EXPERIENCE: three years as an RN with critical care (ICU/ER) or nephrology experience, or employment as an APP in a hospital setting for three years or more..


JOB TYPE: Full Time, Monday- Friday and 26 weekend days a year (combo of Saturdays and Sundays), and two Federal holidays a year in rotation with the other APPs.

SCHEDULE:  Mon – Friday 8a-5p, and 26 weekend days a year.
